The man with the PhD and his sidekick remember what it was like to game as a kid, and they remember their old dreams of the gaming future. Are games today better than we used to hope for? Worse? Or are games right where we thought they'd be?
The conversation is kicked off with a discussion of whether or not it is important for the gaming media to be familiar with the games of old, and for those people that think it is important, what the hell is a young member of the gaming media supposed to do?
Tales of the Personal this week sees WillyBeans explaining what it's like to live Mega Man 9, while DocBrown explains the rather surprising attitude his parents hold about videogames.
Finally, we wrap with a discussion of Bayonetta and an admittance that while WillyBeans is thrilled with his introduction to the Scott Pilgrim comic he has absolutely no idea HOW to read a comic.
